Joanne Samson

Joanne is a native of Rockford, IL.but she has spent most of her adult life in Jackson, MS. She works in oils and primarily paints still life. Her education includes a B.A. from

Marquette University and a J.D. from Mississippi

College School of Law.

Ms.Samson has studied oil painting with David Leffel

of New Mexico, Gregg Kreutz of New York City and

Joyce Pike of California. She has trained with Myra Green,

Bob Thmpkins and Bob Pennebaker.

She has exhibited at the Jackson Municipal Art Gallery,

The Briarwoods and Peachtree Village.

Oil Paintings of Ms. Samson are in private collections in Mississippi, Louisiana, Florida and Illinois
